Classification of Filtering Fabric

    According to the differences of filtering materials, Filtering Fabric can be mainly classified into four types: Synthetic Fiber Filtering Fabric, Nonwoven Filtering Fabric, Fiberglass Filtering Fabric and Activated Carbon Filtering Fabric.

    Nonwoven Filtering Fabric, using PP or PET as raw materials, can be made through Melt-blown, Needle-punched, Spunlaced or Spunbonded process; Synthetic Fiber Filtering Fabric, Fiberglass Filtering Fabric and Activated Carbon Filtering Fabric can mainly be made through Spray-bonded, Hot-air-through or Needle-punched process;


    According to the Native Standard GB/T14295, Filtering Fabric can be classified into: Coarse (Initial)-efficiency, Medium-efficiency and High-efficiency;


    According to the European Standard, Filtering Fabric can be classified into: G1G2G3G4F5F6F7F8.


    According to filtering efficiency, Filtering Fabric can be classified into:

    1Initial-efficiency Filtering Fabric

    including Coarse-efficiency Filtering Fabric, Vent Filtering Fabric, Blue-white Filtering Fabric, Green-white Fiberglass Filtering Fabric, Flame-retarding Nonwoven Fabric, High Temperature Resistance Initial-efficiency Filtering Fabric, High Temperature Resistance Fiberglass Filtering Fabric, Activated Carbon Filtering Fabric, Winding Filtering Fabric, Coconut Fiber Filtering Fabric, Vine Fiber Filtering Fabric, Initial-efficiency Nonwoven Filtering Fabric, etc; Filtering levels are G1G2G3G4.

    2Medium-efficiency Filtering Fabric:

    including Medium-efficiency Fine Fiber Filtering Fabric, Canopy Filtering Fabric, Medium-efficiency Needle-punched Filtering Fabric, Medium-efficiency Ironing Filtering Fabric, Medium-efficiency Nonwoven Filtering Fabric, Melt-blown Filtering Fabric and etc, which can filter dust particles are less than 5μm and greater than 1μm, are mainly used for secondary or ultimate filtration after coarse filtration.


    3High-efficiency Filtering Fabric:

    It can  filter dust particles whose sizes are 0.5μm, so it is mainly used for manufacturing high-efficiency air filters which are used for particularly high filtration requirements such as hospitals or laboratories.
